Colossians 4:1
Colossians 4 Colossians Christians are encouraged to pray for the spread of God's word andto the goodness of Christ to be shared with everyone.
VERSE
“Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven“
Greek – Doulous / English – Slave
Greek – Kurioi / English – Masters
St. Paul did not forget to give orders to the slave as he gave orders to the Slaves. For the masters, he told them to do justice to their slaves. For eg- the master would not have given the Yavana, the justice he gave to the Romans. The masters had a different kind of justice towards the daughter of many in the household. But Paul instructed that Christian masters should give the righteousness of Christ to all. The word justice also has the meaning of giving due wags to the labourer. A little more clear when reading the N.I.V. In the NIV it says to give slaves what is fair, right, and just.
Colossians 4:2
VERSE
“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving“
A man falls away from his relationship with Christ when he does not devote himself to prayer. If we want to survive the severe persecutions against the believer with faith, we should give thanks even for the little things that God has done. The NASB translators write as follows: Devote yourself to prayer and be alert with a spirit of thanksgiving.
Colossians 4:3-4
VERSE
“Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.“
The Colossian Christians are asked to pray so that way to spread the word of God and the goodness of Christ is opened and preached everywhere. For spreading the Gospel of Christ, St. Paul underwent many sufferings and was put to prison too; which St.Paul doesn’t seems to be a curse or an unfortunate in his life. It is a joy to be able to receive from God the precious secrets of Christ through this passion. It is requested that all Christian believers pray for the door to be opened to announce the secrets of Christ that were received by God when the Apostle Paul was in prison as soon as possible in the churches. The Colossian Christians praying to St.Paul is not making them a bounty. It’s the need of the Colossian church. If St. Paul is freed, these great mysteries will come to the Colossae Church.
The way of the prayer life of the early church is not compatible with the way of the prayer life of church Christians in India today. Temples became a profit center where man himself moulded the statues with clay and instituted various legends and covenants. They went ahead with psychology to show that the image they made had power, avoiding everything Christ-centred .and spreading many false miracles without clear evidence or direct eyewitness.
The idols they make appear to believers and make them believe that great miracles have taken place. Psychology like mentalism is easily accessible to anyone who is superstitious. Leaders who have captured the faith of believers make them believe that what they see in mentalism is true, thereby propagating that all things are possible with idols.
It is the custom of such people to recite some prayer of Christ just for the sake of the name. Those studying the Colossian Church should be careful not to fall into the hypocrisy of those who are not qualified to even look into the early Church.
Colossians 4:5-6
VERSE
“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.“
Outsiders Greek – Exo, / English Out; Outside; Without
The Church must learn to love Christ fully and be tactful to those outside the Church. It is impossible to live in this world for a completely ordinary person, although it is possible to think that I will rely on God alone without desiring anything of man. Believers will have to seek help from outsiders for work, illness education, and food. But it is not suitable for believers to think of them as an idea above God. Gratitude, love, and prayers should be given to those who have done favours. Therefore, it is necessary to behave wisely in order to maintain the sanctity here, as the Christian life without respect for society is from the Bible.
Some problems arose in John the Apostle’s local church between AD 85- 90. A person named Deio Phas did not admit the itinerant Evangelists sent by John to the Church.
Jophas taught that John’s teaching was wrong and wanted to be prominent in the Church. But it was not possible. In his third epistle, John accuses Deios of rejecting the true testimony and the testimony of all. Anyone who departs from the Apostle’s teaching and takes strict measures is equal to the penalty. We can completely address such people as outsiders. By the church Paul means outsiders. By the Church Paul outsider to those who have left. Those who accept doctrines that the Apostles did not speak and teach should be considered to have left the Church. It is necessary to use divine wisdom when we deal with evil preachers who have come out like this. When you have to deal with the Gods of the world in rituals or vows, you must deal with them wisely and guard against the violation of holiness and the commandment.
“But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood” ( Acts 15: 20 )
Do not alienate outsiders with any feelings of anxiety by showing emotional distress. It is also the duty of the Church to show compassion to outsiders who are in pain and suffering without judging them. It was in this condition that St. Paul asks outsiders to intervene. Christians with a heart of compassion can strengthen the weak mind of outsiders. A Christian with this gift can also have compassion for the people who have wronged him and can be eliminated by the wisdom revealed. The condition of revenge can be reversed by the state of mercy and through wisdom to overcome the situation.

VERSE
“All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;“
Tychicus – Greek Tuchikos
The age scholars of the Western Roman Church that they were Ephesians in the Roman province of Asia( up 204 ). When St.Paul wrote the Epistle to the Ephesians, Timothy was the Bishop there, but the Epistle was entrusted to Tychicus. Later, Tychicus was made the Bishop of Ephesus.
“But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother, and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts” (Ephesians 6: 21- 22)
“And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.” ( 2 Timothy 4: 12 )
Tychicus was an Asiatic Christian who, with Trophimus, accompanied Paul on a part of his journey from Macedonia to Jerusalem. He also alludes to having been with Paul in Rome, where the apostle sent him to Ephesus, probably for the purpose of building up and encouraging the church. Tychicus was a very important servant of God with Paul himself in the early church and a good friend of St. Paul. Paul tells the Colossians about Tychicus as a faithful servant of God, a minister, and a beloved brother of St.Paul.
A place called Catha was a small island where Titus was appointed overseer of the Church. When Titus was working to restore the faith of the people who lived on the islands by grace. St. Paul asked him to come to Nicopolis in Ephesus. Instead, St. Paul chose Tychicus and Artemas to work on this island. ( we can understand by this that Titus was a very capable person in the Lord to work strongly and take leadership in the Churches that were in crisis ) .
“When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter” ( Titus 3: 12)
The prosperity of Tychicus, who was known to the Church in Asia Minor, was cause for rejoicing for the Colossian Christians. Tychicus has the ability to inform believers about the suffering of St. Paul and how Paul leads the life of faith. A criminal imprisoned in a Roman prison would be chained to one hand and a soldier would be chained to one hand and a soldier would lock the other side of the chain. The chains are opened for primary purposes and relocked when they are done. Tychicus knows how much wisdom St. Paul endures when he writes articles. When it was described that through the epistle written St. Paul shared his towards the Colossian church and for which he suffered so much, then the Colossian Christians will forget their sufferings and their hearts will have hope. The Coloassian Church will also rejoice when they hear that the chief Apostles will also rejoice when they hear that the chief Apostles are praising God in their sufferings.

ONESIMUS ( slave of Philemon) Greek – Onesimo / English – Onesimus
Onesimus was a slave who ran away from Philemon in prison. Paul converted Manesimos to Philemon. He sends it to him back to Philemon with a letter he had written. That is the epistle to Philemon. Onesimus is a name that means useful in Greek, and Paul is the Apostle who brought him closer to Jesus. Onesimus was regarded as an Apostles in the Eastern Orthodox Churches. According to Catholic tradition, Onesimus is believed to have died in AD 68. Onesimus is a saint for the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches, and the Lutheran Church Missouri Syriad commemorates him on February 15 th or 16 th or 22 Nov, depending on the date of the Gregorian calendar. However, most scholars are of the same opinion as February 15th.
In prison, Paul treated Onesimus as his own Son. Onesimus was martyred by Roman soldiers on February 15th. Some of the Ancient Churches named Onesimus as a runaway slave. Considering Onesimus as his own Son, Paul is willing to send Tychicus, to the Colossian Church. Philemenon’s joy when he hears the mysteries of Jesus Christ through one of them is more than we can imagine.
Colossians 4:10

“Aristarchus my fellow prisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister’s son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him“
Greek – Aristarchos / Eng – Aristarchus
The name Aristarchus was known in Greece 300 years before Christ. Aristarchus, an ancient Greek mathematician, and astronomer from Ion, was associated with astrology. And most of the theories were of Astrology which he presented the most. Astronomy was taught not from geography but from the sun. He also stated that all the other planets are centred around the Sun. Aristarchus was great to the Greeks in 300 BC when he introduced so much nonsense into astronomy. Later generations used to adopt his name. Aristarchus in the bible was a Greek. Aristarchus, who recognized Jesus Christ, did not even look back to astronomy or Artemis. Demetrius, a silversmith made a silver shrine of Artemis, on the altar of the temple. He also gathered with some others and made a commotion against St.Paul.Aristarchus was with Paul when the worshippers of Artemis and Silversmiths made a commotion against Paul and his fellow brothers.
When St. Paul did the evangelistic work, he preached with Shilasino, Aristarchus.
In Ephesus, Paul and his companions were harassed by those who accused them of working against the statues of the temple of the goddess Artemis. Aristarchus who was with St.Paul, Gaius, and Aristarchus and men of Macedonia was dragged and pushed into the Public Hall.
“And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord into the theatre” ( Acts 19: 29)
St. Paul urged him to go to the middle of the crowd to save Aristarchus and Gallus but the disciples stopped Paul.
“And when Paul would have entered in unto the people, the disciples suffered him not ” ( Acts 19: 30 )
And thus he is a man who suffered animal torture in Ephesus for the sake of the Gospel. Aristarchus was in prison with Paul when he wrote his epistle to the Colossians.
Greek – Markos / English – Mark
The Gospel of the Lord was given in manuscripts by Mark, the spiritual son of Peter and the faithful disciple of Paul, who is called Marcus in Latin, Markos in Greek, and Margos in Aramic. Marcus died in Alexandria on April 25, AD 68. He was 62 – 63 years old when he died. His death occurred while still Bishop of Alexandria ( Eusebius 2: 24 – 1) and Marcus was killed in Nero’s 8th year. In Alexandria, there are Cathedral Churches named after Markos. It houses St.Mark’s Basilica and St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral. Marks is commemorated by Catholics and Eastern Orthodox on April 25. This young man also known as John Mark in the early church, wrote the Gospel of Mark. He is also the son of the sister of Barnabas, a famous early church evangelist.
″After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” ( Luke 10: 1)
Jesus Christ sends 70 men and Hippolytus testifies that Barnabas and Hippolytus testify that Barnabas, and Mark were there. Eusebius, the first church historian, wrote Mark with Peter. It is recorded that Peter met Marcus in the Anticoh or Asia Minor during the second year of Emperor Claudius’s reign. When Peter, who was working in Jerusalem, was planned to be killed after the Passover, the angels rescued Peter from prison.
“And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.” ( Acts 12: 6 – 7)
Then he passed through and met Mark. From that day Mark, one of the 10 members of Jesus Christ, went forward as a faithful servant in Christ with Peter, the first of the 12 members. Peter, who was saved from prison by the angel, went straight. At Mark’s house. According to Eusebius’s history.Mark was not in the house of John, Mark who crossed the pass. All the rest also prayed.
“And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands” ( Acts 12: 12)
The holy spirit may have sent Peter, who feared for his life, to the Churches in Asia in the Anticoh or those gathered in Mark’s house. The Apostles did not leave without receiving the message through the prophets in the company or on their own before they set out on their journey with Marcus Aristarchus, Demas Lucas, and Mark, may have had a relationship with St. Paul since the time when Barnabas, one of the 10, and Paul ministered together. Through that, he happened to work with Paul in the evangelistic work in Asia Minor.
“There salute thee Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus; Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellow labourers.” ( Philemon 1: 24 )
PAUL AND BARNABAS ARE SEPARATED BY MARK
In Pamphylia, Barnabas, who did not join Paul’s mission when he was forced to join as St. Paul took the position that his sister’s son Mark should not be added to his mission.
“And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do. And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.” ( Acts 15: 36 – 38 )
Thus Mark caused a strong disagreement between Barnabas and Paul, and both were separated. Barnabas sailed to Cyprus with his nephew
“And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;” ( Acts 15: 39 )
Paul travelled to the places where he had worked in search of Saul. Many of us believers may feel that even after this incident, Paul was hostile to Barnabas and Mark. It is not the truth, according to the nature of the apostles, it is customary for all problems to go away from them before the sun sets, and all sorrows to be forgiven in Christ. It was after this incident that St. Paul asked to see his good colleague Marcus and bring him to prison. And Barnabas is spoken of in Colossians.
And Mark’s presence has been comforting for Paul in evangelistic work. St. Paul forced Timothy to bring Mark when Paul was in prison.
“The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus, my son.” ( 2 Timothy 4: 11)
Mark was born before Paul in evangelical work, so he had direct contact with the ministry of Jesus. Mark is also respectfully called his comforting colleague because he was engaged in evangelistic work before Paul and had direct contact with Jesus’s Ministry. But Peter saw Mark as his own son.
“The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.” ( 1 Peter 5: 13 )
When Mark first wrote his Gospel, he did not have the permission of Peter or Paul. Realizing that the believers in Rome were afraid to abandon persecution and become martyrs their faith due to Mark prioritized the growth of the Church over the human spirit.
Early Church historians have all recorded that when someone told Peter this information, he did not utter a single word of objection against Mark. On the first voyage of Paul and Barnabas, they sailed to Cilicia and Cyprus and arrived at Salamis doing the work of the Gospel. Sinai of the Jews went up to Gogs and preached about Christ. At that time they were helped by John alias Mark.
“So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus. And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.”( Acts 13: 4-5 )
Huperetn Acts 13: 5 has evidence that Mark is the one and it is during this prophetic journey that he meets a Jewish false prophet named Bur -Jesus. Mark was also present when Paul sought to convert Sergius Pavulis, the Consul of Paphos ( Acts 13 c f). Burr-Mark is also the person who witnessed Paul binding Jesus, losing his sight, and the consul accepting faith.
Paul and Barnabas both sailed from Paphos. When they arrived in Perga, Mark left them and went to Jerusalem.
“Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem”( Acts 13: 13)
Paul and Barnabas’s ministry among the Gentiles was also very difficult and needed the spirit of courage; because those who stand fear and depart. It was a ministry of a bold heart and soul. Only a few days in this ministry Mark, who was there, may have been afraid of this ministry among them. There are scholars who believe that the reason for moving away from it and there is nothing wrong in assuming so because it was to some extent it was true. There was some feeble-minded person in their ministry at the time; so for this reason St. Paul told Barnabas not to add anyone in the ministry. Mark, was the beloved of Peter, and Paul the faithful servant of the Lord and the Bishop of Alexandria, were good examples for us.
Colossians 4:11
VERSE
“And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellow workers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.“
Eng – JUSTUS / Greek – YOUSTOS
St. Paul calls the evangelist named Jesus ( Justus ) Youstos who was in prison with St. Paul. He is also a colleague of Paul who worked for the kingdom of God. Youstos ( Justus) is a Latin meaning for justice, righteous. Dikaois is the word used in the Greek Bible for Jesus’s foster father, Joseph, who was righteous. From this word Dikaois, comes the Latin word Youstos ( Justus ). It was customary in the early church for a person who became a Christian to take a new name along with his name. Paul’s colleague, Justus, was a Jew. Because he had the name of his master Jesus Christ, he took the name along with that name which means Man of Righteousness. It was customary for Jews to receive a reward if converted (Deiss BBSpp- 315 )
Among the Jews, he would have taken the name Justus. The 1st Century Jewish historian’s name was Justus Tiberias of Tiberias, but the adoption of the name Justus as a double name, when Jews became Christians, gave a special meaning. When he becomes a Christian, he takes the name after taking the most relevant decision of how he will live for the Lord. Three people in the early church took the name Justus. One, Joseph called Barnabas – he was the one who took the name Joseph Justus. This Joseph is known as the Lord’s brother. Orthodox theologians, with the exception of Catholic theologists, say that he is the son of Joseph by his first wife . He is the one chosen with Matthias to replace Judas Iscariot with the Lord’s twelve Apostles. But the lot fell to Matthias.
“And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias” ( Acts 1: 23)
Second, when Paul from Macedonia convinced the Jews by giving testimony to Christ,
“they opposed and slandered Paul. Tearing off his clothes, Paul told them, Let your blood be your own heads. I am going to the Gentiles.” ( Acts 18: 6)
So Paul left there and went to the house of a Christian and God-fearing man.
“And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue” (Acts 18: 7 )
His name was Titus Justus. There was a church in this Justus‘s house. Later, Paul stayed there and preached the gospel. Titus Justus was also a Roman citizen. Along with Titus, he received the name Justus when he accepted Jesus. The third Youstos ( Justus ) we have thought of is Jesus Youtos. He was the one who was in prison with Paul.
“And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellow workers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me” ( Colossians 4: 11 )
Aristarchus, Mark, and Jesus were working in Rome during the Xana period. And because they were given, they were great among the Jews in Rome. Paul was able to do evangelistic work to a certain extent, without any problems. It was a big relief for St. Paul. If theology is to teach the Jews that circumcision is necessary, the Jews must give it the opportunity. They would not allow the uncircumcised to preach among them. So St. Paul will take the circumcised and teach them about Christ. It was very helpful says, Paul.

“Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.“
When the greetings of Epipas the Colossian are conveyed, it conveys the prayer and love of Epaphras for the Church. ( The topic of you being perfect has been discussed earlier.)
Colossians 4:14
VERSE
“Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.“
Here Paul is referring to Luke, who wrote the gospel and the Apostolic work. His real name may not be Luke. A person from Lucanas may have been called Luke for short. For example, a person from Anas was called Annas. A person from Apollonia was also called Apollos. A person from Arti Madoras was called Arti Mass. A Person from Metri was called Demes (Sehans). This name began to appear in the Apostolic work and epistles. In Ancient Greek, there was the word Lucanus. Marcus Annaeus, the Roman poet, was born in Lucca. Lucanus means born early in the morning. In ancient writings written in Latin, Lucanus is shortened to Lucas. But a man called Luke was the evangelist of the Lord. It is generally believed that Saint Luke was a native of Antioch.
This information is found in UCBU’S church history. Even in the Evangelical Chronicle, it is clearly written that Luke was an Antiochian. Saint Luke was not a Jew. Despite walking with Paul, Paul kept Luke from being circumcised. Catholic scholars have concluded that Luke could be a Greek from the style of Luke’s writing. Based on the verses from (Acts 13: 1)
“ Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.” (Acts 13: 1)
Onwards it’s clear that Luke has 100 % knowledge of the Saints of Antioch. Also, his style of writing was that of the Greeks. And the assumption that Luke was the one who accompanied Cleopas after the resurrection was incorrect. And concerning the scriptures of the Greek Kinsman, and the matter of the Jews. Luke was a well-informed man. ( Jerome). Luke was a physician by profession, so Paul addresses him as the most beloved Physician.
“Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven” ( Col 4: 1)
At that time Tarsa had famous medical masters and medical centres. It is not wrong to think that Luke learned medicine from there ( Plummer ). St. Paul met Luke the physician when he arrived in this country where there many physicians for evangelistic work. Someone who has already read the Bible and knows Yahweh well, to bring Luke to Jesus Christ. Knowledge of Jehovah was not a hindrance to Paul’s quick involvement in the preaching work at Taves and his immediate discipleship of the Lord. After that, he travelled with Paul to Makania. Years later spent a lot of time with Paul and carried Paul’s Epistles to the Romans. King Nayal was martyred in Greece in A.D.84 after Paul’s time. Thebes, a city in Boetia in central Greece, played a central role in spreading the stories and superstitions of ancient Greek mythology. Archaeologists have found many written in linear script from here. In Thebes and Boetia, which were filled with extreme blind Anarchy, Luke carried out a mighty work and raised the banner of martyrdom to join the Highest God. Churches commemorate him on October 18.
Greek – DEMAS / Eng – DEMAS
Paul greets the Christians of Cologne by adding the name of Mass.
“Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.”( Philippians 1: 24 )
With Luke, who was a prisoner with Paul and a colleague in the work of the Gospel. But the reason why biblical scholars describe this month as Paul’s Judas is that he left Paul in prison, abandoned his activities in Rome, and fled to Thessalonica without Paul’s permission.
St. Paul wrote his second epistle to Timothy in prison as he neared his death. At that time Luke. He remained in prison without leaving Paul. He asks Timothy to hurry from Ephesus because he wants to see Timothy before he dies.
“For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.” ( 2 Tim 4: 10 )
At this time Tychicus was sent to the Church in Ephesus. When Paul was martyred by the sword in Rome, he must have the pain of leaving him.

“Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.“
Nympha must have been a woman who had repented while Paul was in Ephesus. As a result of the penitential experiences, he started a community in his home. ( introduction of Nympho’s house ).

“And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.“
Greek – Laodikeon / Eng – Laodicea
It is like a circular epistle to the three congregations. The Coloassian Epistles was written by St. Paul. When Paul told the Colossians to read the epistles of Laodicea then everyone in the world; along with the Christian scholars too had the question in their mind – where was the Laodicea? There was a short epistle of 20 verses called the Laodicea Epistle. This article appeared in Latin. Some Latin manuscripts from the 6th to the 16th century have this article. It had nothing to do with the usual Paul’s article. Because of this, it was declared canonical at the Second Council of Nicaea in AD 787.
It was also decided that this article should not be included in the group of scriptures for any reason. According to Lifefoot, this article first appeared in Greek. Saint Jerome did not accept this epistle as scripture. We need not go after this article which the church fathers rejected. Some scholars suggested that the Laodicean epistle is the Ephesians epistle. The reason for saying so is that the Epistle to Ephesians was written to be read in every church. Therefore they establish that the Laodicean epistle is the Ephesians epistle.
Marcoin refers to the Ephesians epistle as the Laodicean epistle. Because he was St.Paul, the father of all cycle articles. It was read in every church in Asia. There will be general guidelines for writings written as cycle articles. It was read in every church in Asia. There will be general guidelines for writing to you. Many people who understand the composition of the Ephesians Epistle believe that it may be the Laodicean Epistle.
Colossians 4:17
VERSE
“And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.“
Some scholars suggest that Archippus was the chief minister of the church in Philemon’s house. This writing makes it clear that Paul was a person of great authority. According to Lifefoote, said that Archippsawas Philemon’s son. When sending Archippus to Coloassia St. Paul wanted Father and Son to receive him equally. But Goodspeed suggests that Archippus was the Bishop of Laodicea. After speaking about the Laodicean Church, he went to minister to Archippus; it is said in Colossians.
“And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it” (Col 4: 16-17 )
But the example given by those who oppose Goodspeed’s opinion is that since Philemon’s name is mentioned in the epistle written by Philemon along with Archio, they must have thought that Philemon stayed in Laodicean. Therefore, they argue that since Laodicea comes before the name of Archippus, it is not possible to think that Laodicea was a Bishop. Paul’s greetings always had the nature of mentioning the name of the persons. But there is nothing wrong in thinking that the Bishop of that Church is mentioned by the name of a church and reminded that Archippus is ministering. Even if we assume that Philemon’s Son is gone, what is the obstacle to him staying and ministering in Laodicea?

“The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen (Written from Rome to Colossians by Tychicus and Onesimus.“
They are written by the hands of His Holiness, bound by chains, and the knowledge of Christ is transferred by the pen movement. Remember my chains. To the divine altars where the Highest dwells, venomous among mortals, eager to fly like doves of the transference of Christ’s knowledge written by the hands of His Holiness, bound in chains. The sin that arises from this will melt like snow. As much as the grace touched with love…. As the light of the Sun fades away, the human heart will never set, but your loving grace will never set.
