Colossians 2 Explanation

Colossians 2 addresses various false teachings which threatened the Colossian believers.

Colossians 2:1

VERSE

For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh. ”

Colossae, Laodicea, and Hierapolis are the famous cities of Phrygia. St. Paul through his preachings gave awareness to the people, against their superstitions which were followed in these Churches. His struggles against these superstitions are highlighted in his letter.

St. Paul knew that if he was able to enlighten the people of Phrygia and outside the city nearby it: the word of the GOSPEL; with Grace, people may repent from their Sin and also it would create a peaceful environment in the Church. Also to break the false faith created by the False preachers; the Gospel preachings required, a lot of hard effort with much suffering. It describes the sufferings faced in the prison.

For you all, he did the spiritual strugglings means- preaching to all the administrators, and the rulers of the place so that they should receive the truth and believe it and repent themselves from their Sins. For that; it required a lot of suffering too. doing so, if they all repent then it would be beneficial to all the people of Asia Minora to be part of the body of Christ and also to the believers who didn’t see St . Paul. And also to deliver the message to the believers- needs spiritual suffering too, which means that; the writing of the Epistles is also great suffering. That is the availability of ink, papyrus paper, and other requirements available in Jail requires a lot of suffering. Along with all this, the permission of writing the Epistles was the major hindrance St. Paul had to face. These writings were written in the Papyrus paper and arranging them to be reached to the Church peoples in those days was a very difficult task carried. With the grace of prayer, only all these were done.

These epistles were sent to the churches through ships by sea routes. The difficulties of the climates and other health issues were the major hindrance faced. During the travelling. Some got sick during the travelling and then later recovered through Grace only, like this many cases arose too. To overcome these circumstances the Apostles and the saints did a lot of hard efforts to preach the word of Christ. that’s how Paul was able to give 13 epistles to the churches. Each and every church were considered as the parts of Christ’s body. To deliver the Churches from sin and protest against false teachers was the main aim of St. Paul; which he did proclaiming the true word of God to the believers of the churches. So that they all be united in the body of Christ.a

Colossians 2:2

THE MYSTERY OF THE GOD – Greek  Musteriou tou theo (Mystery of the God)
VERSE

” That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ”

The mystery of belief which was not seen and was not understandable by the present age was already received by the Coloasse believers. Many of the First Churches were martyrs because of their knowledge of the Mystery of Christ. Because of the knowledge of God’s Mystery, the believers didn’t fall under the influence of false preachings and were firm in their belief.

They strongly believed that God’s image dwelled in Christ. God the Father is an invisible God, and his image was carved in Jesus. Which means those who want to see God can see him in Jesus Christ. So no one should believe that Abba the Father is an invisible God and Christ is a visible God. Behold Jesus says that his father is a spirit.

” But the hour cometh, and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship “(John 4:23).

Jesus didn’t take the form of a man because his father was in the same form. But during his life on the earth; He took the form of emptiness to reveal the truth of the fullness of the Almighty God. That’s why he lived as a servant when he lived on Earth. For us, he became a servant, and a Man – in the image.

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. It was till he was crucified on the cross, that He was glorified to the Kingdom of God and raised above among all the names. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name “(Philip 2: 7-10).

In the Coloasse Churches( after the resurrection of Christ), the believers all visualized God in their belief’s insight.

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (1 Cori 13:12).

After the resurrection of Christ, from the First Church all holy persons prayed by adoring him in the insight and with a strong belief in Christ. Those who got the visions of Christ, the Apostles, or the discipline never dared to draw the image of God. Because it is in the Law of Life; that you should never-ever make the image of God. ( picture of Jesus as said – drawn by da -Vinci; was put forward as a man’s image A.D. in 1500 ).

St. Paul called church people as Holy, he had reasons for it. Because they all followed brotherly love and showed respect to others. The enmity is removed and united in the body of Christ without any differentiation and continued to live in the love of Jesus.

This is how the love of Christ should be given to others which St. Paul knew very well.

  •  In faith, it should be united to the physical body of Christ and there should be a strong relation maintained with the Head too. As the body of the man is closely bound with the neurons so are the members of the church who are slaves. Without any difference between being the slave, or the master, a free person, all should be able to follow to love and respect each other.

“And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.”(Col 2:19)

  •  The Church which is united to Jesus will always be attached to Jesus, should have a bold belief in each and every work of the Church, and should also believe that strong faith makes us free from all fears. So for that reason, the Holy Church should follow the head and continue their life.
“From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love” (Ephesian 4:16).

And this is how the early Church follow in the Love of Christ and didn’t got separated from the love of Christ and became the martyrs, who are more in numbers.

During my study of history, what I got from my research; from the start of the fourth centuries from the starting itself, that most of the believers destroyed their lives was my findings. That’s how the administrators got under the influence of punishment. Instead of giving all the honours to Christ, they gave honour and position for their selfish needs to other persons. Through this, the fight between the leaders started, and with great competition, crimes, etc were carried towards each other in public. By the first century the Churches got under the influences of politics in the church and provoking the war; in these all they find interest rather than in the preachings of the Gospel. They didn’t follow the teachings of – the stronger should serve the weaker, don’t feel themselves dominate one, and always follow the love and be firm in it. But they were not able to follow the principle of Christ. To receive the Love from the people they started preaching different laws which were meant by themselves only and were not according to the teachings of Jesus. By the seventh century itself, the belief in the early churches started to decline, which we can notice when we read history.

But still, from starting of the early century itself there were many priests and meditators who lived a holy life in many numbers, which we can’t deny. Maybe it’s because of their devotional prayers and supplications that their generations are living in holiness. And gave the strength to carry the churches forward. But some lived in worldly desire even after their death due to the desires of the early churches.

Colossians 2:3

VERSE

“In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge”

Without bonding with Christ, how much the man thinks about is of no use, because it’s with Christ only the deeds are possible, without him they will become worthless.

The Gnoistics ‘s preachings are against the teachings of Jesus because they were not holding a strong relationship with the Head of Christ. The Churches that followed the relationship with the Head were able to go forward because of this treasure in them.

Colossians 2:4

VERSE

“And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.”

Lord Jesus is not God because he was born from man, these are the Gnoistic preaching proclaimed which are false teachings words. Like this, words which were against the Christ when believed made them to be taken away from the Kingdom of God which St. Paul makes everyone to be remembered.

Colossians 2:5

VERSE

“For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ “

Those who say that they believe in the Lord and don’t follow the principles of Christ; it’s of no use. Colosse Churches lead themselves on the right path which was described by St. Paul and he greatly agreed with it. And also for this reason he makes himself to be a part of this group.

Colossians 2:6

VERSE

“As ye, therefore, received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him “

The way how you all denied the old life, in the same way, you should all be ready to live with strong belief deeply rooted in Christ.

Colossians 2:7

VERSE

“Rooted and built up in him, and established in faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving “

The root of your belief is rooted deep in Christ. Through the Gospel preachings, you should be deeply rooted in Christ so that you may not be thrown out of the belief. And for that, we should always give praise to the Almighty God.

Colossians 2:8

TRADITION: Greek – Pradosin, Pradosis / English -Tradition

VERSE

” Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ”

The name of the believers is written in the Tabernacle of God, so we should not listen to outsiders. The concept of creation, and the birth of Jesus all the related matters of philosophians preachings and thoughts should never come into our mind. Jesus Christ devalued the inheritance of the Pharisees and of the Scholars. St. Paul also carried the same principalities or values in his life. He is strongly denying the inheritance and controversy of the preaching of philosophies with reference to the Gospel. Also, he is following the same thoughts which Jesus followed too.

Those who follow the principalities of God sincerely are called His disciples or the Apostles. We should know that there are many Apostles who never followed the principles of God, in today’s life. They all denied the teachings of Christ. Whatever Jesus and the Apostles taught should be taken as an inheritance. The teachings other than that are outside the teachings of the Gospel and from the Apostles; should never be followed.

” Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word or our epistle “ (2 Thesslo 2:15).

Paul explicitly warns his readers: ” See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. For in him, the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.” Philosophical reasoning, therefore, that is subject to the final authority of Scripture can shed great light on our search for and understanding of truth. Christians do need to be cautious about any form of philosophy that is “ not according to Christ”. If it is in any way contrary to the revelation of God in any way contrary to the revelation of God in Christ or diminishes from his supremacy and glory, it is to be shunned. The philosophy was conceived in the mind of man and did not come by means of divine revelation. It may be compatible with and confirm human traditions, and make sense when looked at from a this- wordy perspective, but it has nothing in it of God.

“For as the woman is of the man, even so, is the man also by the woman; but all things of God “(1 Cori 11:12).

There are some rituals followed in the religions, we should be able to justify whether it is according to the Apostolic principles or not. If it’s not according to the Apostolic philosophy then it should be avoided. “But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness”(1 Timothy 4:7).

The philosophy which is against the word of God or its law was questioned many times by Jesus.

” But he answered and said unto them, why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? “(Mathew 15: 3).

Whatever the religious rituals were there to follow in the churches of Jewish the same were forced to be followed by the Coloasse Churches too. St. Paul strongly denies and say’s not to follow their rituals as it was just a formality giving preference to the functions or the rituals only but not strengthening the devotions. That is they were having hollow faith. The scholars of the Jews; following these rituals introduced their own books with their own philosophies. The historian Joseph Flavius gave the name to the study of rituals as” PHILOSOPHIANS “The writings of Pharisees and Sadducees were termed as -philosophies.

The phrase in Greek is paradosin ton anthropon – which implies

  • Laws
  • Rules
  • Handed-Down Regulations of Humanity

PHILOSOPHIA –(Greek )

The teachings don’t have any true evidence and are just like fake theories with the addition of some devotional content, and forced to practice in the form of spiritual devotions; St. Paul claims it is a False philosophy/Philosophia. Those who believe in these philosophies all get under the influence of the Human philosophies and fell in it’s drawbacks and spoil their life. According to C.E.V. versions  “Don’t let anyone fool you by using senseless arguments. These arguments may sound wise, but they are only human teachings. They come from the powers of this world and not from Christ.”

NASB Says-  See to it that there is no one who takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception in accordance with the elementary principles of the world, rather than in accordance with Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the Head over every ruler and authority and in Him, you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.

St. Paul defines philosophy as the views of secularism; which if we follow will lead to a great sin and for which we have to pay later.

Every Christian at the moment of salvation receives this fullness.” Fulness” is God’s estimate of us. God views us as pardoned and as righteous as Christ is righteous. We are with Him in His life, sonship, heirship, glory, and merit. God accomplishes this at the moment of salvation, and it remains valid until we stand in the presence of God. We receive a complete saviour and complete results of our salvation the moment we come to know him. We may appreciate him more as we grow in Him: however, we do not receive more of him.
IN “Him” means in union with Jesus Christ. This union is the Position before God. We are not perfect in our position or status quo before God forever. We share his fullness. From God’s viewpoint, nothing is wanting in us because of Christ. Jesus fully meets every demand for us.
Jesus Christ is our substitute not only at the point of salvation but as an ongoing status before God.
We stand judicially right before God forever. God’s estimation of Christ. God identifies us with him in everything.

Colossians 2:9

VERSE

“ In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.”

For Jewish there is no need to please the Almighty God with wrong philosophies. In Christ, everyone receives all the fullness. With the power of authorization given to us by Christ, which is not by our efforts but by the grace of God. Anything other than this or philosophies will be of lower level; for which we shouldn’t try to follow as there is no use of it.

The opening lines of Colossians emphatically state that lasting growth comes from God alone. Growing in faith, hope, and love results in grace and peace from god the Father evidenced by their love for one another in the Spirit.

Colossians 2:10

VERSE

“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power”

Don’t follow the tradition of Philosophies. They all are only visualizing only the physical body in which there is no Christ, they are viewing the human concept. The Holy concept of God remains in the Colossians; of which St. Paul makes us all remember.

Colossians 2:11

VERSE

“ In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.”

Jesus has power over every visible and invisible thing on the earth, and it was the true belief of the believers of the Church. But St. Paul reminds everyone not to forget and the foolishness committed by Adam; should be repeated by Christians of the Churches too. Wisdom is the Image of the Almighty God.

“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” ( Colossus 3: 10).

Adam was made in the fulfilment of God’s love and enlightenment (another image of Almighty God who was allowed to live in the Garden of Eden where there is no death).

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7)

When he was born in the wisdom of God then he shouldn’t have wished to have the created fruit of the wisdom of the earth. It’s because of this that Adam, though born in the Wisdom of God was punished for his disobedience.

We have Jesus within our body, who dwells in us, and for the same reason, we are living Souls of him. All the Saint of the churches have been transferred to the great God’s image; which is in the divine holiness.

“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him ” (Colo 3: 10).

When the Christians are filled with complete wisdom then they shouldn’t follow the wisdom of the earth. This is what St. Paul wanted strongly to preach to the Churches.

Colossians 2:12

PERITOME, AROVUSTIA (CIRCUMCISION)

VERSE

” Buried with him in Baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.”

From the festival of Pentecost to the meetings of the Apostles, there was the practice of circumcision followed in the Churches. All the descendants of Abrahams had to follow circumcision, which was the law that the Christians tried to follow. The Slaves of Abraham and all who were with Abraham followed this law, for that reason, the Gentiles were also given circumcision. But St. Paul strongly denies this law and gathered the Elders, and Apostles to discuss this matter. There was a strong debate on it with favourable and unfavorable views. Later, the Church decided and removed the law of circumcision ( Acts 15: 1-19)

St. Paul and other Apostles played a major role in removing the circumcision, but the Jewish Christians stood firm and they protested to bring back the law; also they followed it and did the circumcision too (Acts 21:20 -23).

Before attending the meetings of Jerusalem, St Timothy along with St. Paul wherever they went to preach the Christians strongly disputed St. Timothy’s preachings. It was because he was not circumcised, and was preaching about Yahweh and about Jesus which lead to a strong dispute. Then for the sake of Gospel preachings, St. Paul did the circumcision of St. Timothy.

When circumcision was restricted, as per the decisions taken by the Churches in the meetings of Jerusalem, at the same time St. Paul did the circumcision of St. Timothy. This decision was taken for Gentiles, but St. Timothy because he was born of Father who was Greek and a Jew mother; he had to follow the circumcision otherwise it would lead to a great dispute. During these times all the Churches gather together at many places to make decisions about the Jerusalem meetings. St. Paul knew about the unawareness of the people regarding Christology, so for that reason, He did the circumcision of St. Timothy. If the teachings of circumcisions were proclaimed in the Churches before; there was no need for St. Paul to undergo the Circumcision of Timothy.

When the Law of circumcision, was valid in the Churches of Jerusalem at that point the circumcision of Timothy, could have created a great dispute in the Churches, as a result of this the Christians would have been segregated- and hence St. Paul did the circumcision of Timothy. He did the circumcision not giving it importance or knowing well circumcision well; instead, he did it for the growth of preaching and spreading of the Gospel.

He didn’t do it against the Law of Jerusalem but because Timothy was born of a Jewish mother if he undergoes circumcision, then only He will be acceptable to all the Jewish. For getting acceptance of Timothy, from the Christians, circumcision was carried. But St Paul at the same time, strongly warned the Churches not to follow the circumcision of Gentiles.

“And as they went through the cities, they delivered them that were ordained of the Apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem “( Acts 16: 4).

After this St. Paul focused to preach against circumcisions with warnings and also taught everyone about their spiritual meaning too ( Gala 2: 14-16).

Maybe there might be a chance that the Galatian- Christians too had to follow this Law of circumcision so for that reason St. Paul strongly warned everyone not to undergo circumcisions. It was not St. Paul’s persistence, but of all the Apostles, and the Elders who took the decision in the presence of the Holy Spirit; which they all wanted to teach the people, and also made them obey it.

“Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing “( Gala 5:2) .

St. Paul explains the spiritual meaning to the Galatians that circumcision doesn’t mean -that after circumcision lives according to the evil deeds but it’s to become a new man in Christ.

“For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature ” ( Gala 6:15).

All who do think that they are following the Law by undergoing circumcision and continuing life doing sinful deeds and living in Sin, what he did is only the removal of the foreskin only.

Q). If suppose any Jew peels off the foreskin for other any reason and then follows the Law will it be, later considered as the obedience of the Law?

No never – The circumcisions are done as per the covenant made with the Lord, carried as an inheritance. But the Gentile follows the Law; though he has not undergone circumcision still he will be more honoured than the person Who is circumcised and disobey the Law. Also, he can judge the wrongdoer too. Not understanding the Law of God and just showing obedience to the words of the Laws, such persons will never be honoured by God. And if the soul of a person is renewed without any change in the flesh. He receives honours from God. These were the teachings which St. Paul preached to the Romans.
” For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly: neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh”. ( Roman 2:28)

Abraham was considered righteous not because he was Circumcised; instead, because he had a strong belief in God and he sincerely obeyed the Lord for that’s how he was honoured by the Lord as theRighteous Man”  (Roman 4:1-12).

St. Paul doesn’t teach that the covenant of the Circumcision of Abraham was a big Sin or take it in any other view. Whatever Abraham’s covenant had it was transferred in Baptism and given to everyone. The Covenant received by Abraham was taken by Jesus and it was fulfilled on the cross. Hence he is made separated from inside of a Holy one who had old laws to grow as a new one. When Christ is dwelling in you then there is no need for the foreskin. Our covenant is in baptism with Christ, dying in Christ, and being raised to Heaven. A Baptized person -has a part in Heaven. There is no need for any other external signs on his body. But for those who don’t believe in the resurrection of the body – this is only for those who don’t believe in Christ (Col 2:11-12).

THE OLD LAW OF CIRCUMCISION.

It is written in the column that During the rule of the Maccabees (priestly Jewish family) organized a successful rebellion against the Seleucid ruler Antiochus IV and deconsecrated the defiled Temple of Jerusalem. When they came to Jerusalem, they brought the law that the children of the Jews should not be circumcised.

When the Jews people realized that this commandment was against their beliefs, many of the Jewish mothers began to protest against the commandment and did circumcision of their children. Because of that, many Jewish mothers were killed and many of the children were also killed and hung around their mother’s necks. Despite suffering such cruelty, the Jews were not ready to withdraw from God’s circumcision covenant with their forefather Abraham.         (1 Maccabee 1 : 60-64)

The first circumcision was done by the men including Abraham (Genesis 17: 10-16) This process was not done according to Abraham’s pleasure but on God’s demand. From an eight-day-old boy to the slave of Abraham all followed the law of circumcision. God made this covenant with Abraham when he was ninety-nine years old, and Abraham’s son Ishmael (slave son) was also around 13 years old also underwent circumcision. As in other matters, there was no hindrance of law regarding the days for carrying the circumcision, even on Sabbath also it was done. This was highlighted by Jesus Christ (John 7:22-23).

This procedure is done by the ‘Father of the child; In certain cases of necessity, the mother and later this law was changed and special people were appointed to perform the purification work. All the tribes of Israel were born from Abraham and the Holy One did it. In addition, some of the tribes born from women other than Sarah followed this, and the Egyptians, Philischer, and others also followed this.

The Bible called them strangers because the society in Babylon also did the circumcision. Abraham’s descendants Midian ( Genesis 25 : 1-2 ) still had different opinions regarding Hebrew laws. There was also a difference in concept as the law of the personal covenant given included the provision of the personal covenant that God gave to Abraham and his descendants so that a baby would join their religion and become part of Abraham’s physical succession.

Foreigners were to be trained to convert to the Gentiles or Judaism. Foreigns were allowed to keep the Passover,(allow to eat the Pesaha appam) if they were ready for Uncircumcision. (Exodus 12 : 48). Such laws apply to those who remain in the body and those who live in the spirit of Jesus Christ, need no such laws.

Colossians 2:13

VERSE

“And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the Uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses”.

Paul reminds the Colossians about their past life, as their life were violent and they were following their sinful nature. Greeks and Romans did not undergo circumcision.

The Greeks called the circumcised people ‘naked’. The Romans copied many of the cultures of the Greeks. The Uncircumcised Colossian peoples when they became part of Christian Churches, the Jews tried to raise doubts in their minds regarding the circumcision given to them. But St. Paul said that the holy life that got separated from the mind of transgressions is the ‘Holy life with circumcision’. Christians should not rely on the law of purification by testing the body, it is through the body of Christ that cleanses you and destroys death, for those who are dead need circumcision but those who have risen in Christ don’t need any circumcision. St. Paul taught the churches that the purity of the mind and the spiritual life are more important than the purity of the person.

St. Paul points out here that their ethnic identity is no longer a barrier to fellowship with God. God has forever broken down the wall between Jew and Gentile, having created in Christ one new man, the Church.

Colossians 2:14

INDICTMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN PINCHED WITH FINGERNAILS AND REVOKED

VERSE

“Blotting out the handwritings of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his Cross”.

Jesus freed us through his cross the indictments that were issued towards us, by pinching with their hands. By writing ordinary indictments to punish the crimes for which the criminals are to be punished without change. It is written that these activists can pinch the indictment with their fingernails, and thus do not see a transformation. Even in NIV which states “by abolishing in his flesh the enmity thereby putting to the death of enmity “it is “the enmity “that was abolished and put to death, not the commandments. In the absence of such a conversion, the accusation of legal indebtedness is seen in Jesus that he changed it by nailing it to the cross.

In KJV, warns those who consider abandoning Christ and going back to following the law by pointing out that it was about to disappear. But the rest of the translations are taken off with nails. Jesus through his blood has cleared the accusation that Jesus was nailed to the cross and replaced by a similar translation which means that he was nailed to the cross by writing judgments and objections written by hostile hands. But the rest of the translations have been removed. Some scholars comment on the nailing of the cross.

Some scholars comment on the nailing of the cross. If the charge sheet is pierced with a nail, the charge sheet will be invalidated. The charge sheet was written for the person and the charge sheet was bought by the owner at a price. They suggest that Paul is giving the interpretation that the purchased Jesus nailed the cross with nails and nullified the crime against us, but although it was not possible to find in this opinion of the scholars, the idea is very strong.

We must live Jesus is our King The fathers lived by distinguishing between the pure and the unclean to see Christ but they could not attain it and return to the state of destruction.

To never pass into life means that if one is cleansed by Christ for the purpose of forgiveness, then he will become so light that he will never pass away. Believers receive righteousness through Jesus  (Acts 13: 39 ). Even though the righteous become righteous by obeying the system, it was because it was the condition of the old fathers (Acts 13: 36). But since we who have been justified live forever with God, we have nothing to do with accusations written by hands. We must live in hope and go, indictments were written, and all indictments that were against the earth and mankind were paid by Jesus himself with blood and more.

OBEDIENCE TO THE OLD TESTAMENT

The old fathers were hoping to enter heaven so that if they died they could only go to   Abraham Bosom in heaven. They thought that no one can enter the heavenly place of the God the Father. We must believe Christ broke the chains of death by his crucifixion and made this work of hope the way and life to the kingdom of heaven, which was the belief of the righteous Christians.

“I went there because God revealed to me that I should go.While i was there I met privately with those considered to be leaders of the church and shared with them the message I had been preaching to the Gentiles.I wanted to make sure that we were in agreement, for fear that all my efforts had been wasted and I was running the race for nothing.”

(Galatians 2:2).

Those who received it became the way to the kingdom of heaven and became life. This hope is for the righteous Christians. If those who obeyed the written by hand did not get heaven, then instead of those writings we have hope. It can be understood in two ways.

For, on the one hand, a former commandment is set aside because of its weakness and uselessness. (for the law made nothing perfect); but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God “(Hebrews 7:18-19).

Living in hope in Christ instead of the law We have hope and they have the law Jesus Christ took away the punishments with His nails and nailed them to the cross. All the old laws that hinder hope were removed during the days of the apostles.

” For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor Uncircumcision, but a new creation ” (Galatians 6:15).

If those who obeyed the written by hand did not get heaven, we have hope in place of those writings (Romans 5:7-11) .

The church has run into grace to enter the kingdom of heaven alive and has hope in place of those writings.

Colossians 2:15

VERSE

“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”

Jesus completely not only abolished all the laws which were put on man regarding untouchables, debts, and not eating unclean or that common but also destroyed Satanic bondage too. The Holy Blood of Jesus which was shed on the cross, kept the devil and his cohorts completely defeated. And at the Cross, Satan and his cohorts were dethroned. He set us free from the debts of the Law and so there is no need for us to carry that burden of the debts due to the disobedience of the Law. For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same. Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross – Satan has been DISARMED, DEFEATED, DISPOSSED, DETHRONED, and DESTROYED in our life. And got the victory over Satan.

“And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth. Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common” (Acts 10: 11-15).

Colossians 2:16-17

VERSE

Therefore let no one pass on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ “.

When the law of food of Jews, was tried to be imposed on the Colossian church, St. Paul denies this law and teaches them that Christian life is not for obeying the law but to be in Hope. washings of food were laws given for the body to join the body to devotion. But deal only with food and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation (Hebrew 9:10)St. Paul tells the Colossian church that they should turn away from the law of the Jews because Having cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us, he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.

THE AMPLIFIED

The amplified is written in the Bible as such, so on food matters, a feast day, a new moon, or a curse, no one should judge you. All four things were followed by Jews according to their Laws ( Ezekiel 45 :17,  Isaiah 1:13)All four things were followed in the ritual days of the Jews, and they all did with complete dedication towards their Laws.

INANIMATE CHURCHES OF INDIA

By the end of the 20th century, evil preachers started entering the Indian culture. They had the taste of Bharath (Indian )culture and mindlessness began to spread mischief in the Indian churches, advising the believers to surrender to them like the Nicolaitans and telling those who bought them to do the festivals and customs of the foreign caste under the guise of love. Those who were reborn in Christ were advised, forcefully to follow such customs. They tried to convert the minds of believers from the teachings of Paul, by urging for secularism in the minds of believers.

By the 21st century in India, such false apostles have become increasingly common in India, instead of loving caste people, they have stolen their God and their rituals and placed them in the churches and started adoring it. Also, influenced to follow rituals of other religions. In the new generation, the faith and power that Christ is the only saviour has been lost and the new generation has run into mixed marriages and they have become the slaves of powerful atheism, and still the false apostles are preaching that everything is in Christ’s religion into the church without their permission (Hosea 2:13)

DECLINE OF THE COLOASSE CITY

Phrygia was a famous city in Colossia in the B.C. of the 5th century. At that time the city of Laodicea was not established. The Colossian city got declined in the trade sector during the time of Jesus. Later the popularity of the city totally declined down, in the 5th century. When Jesus was born on earth as flesh, at that time in this place a terrible earthquake occurred, and destroyed completely both the Colosse and Phrygia. Then later, it was again re-established but still, was not able to recover its previous status.

Colossians were great devotees of Serpent deities and also believed in the belief of the Gnostics regarding the worshipping of the Angels (Pleroma). And hence, Coloasse became the first shrine of both Angels and Snakes deities. The Early Coloasse was called ‘Huwalusiya’, then later this name was changed to ‘Coloasse’.

The first mention of the city may be in the 17th century B.C. was the HITTITE inscription, which speaks of a city Huwalusiya, which some archaeologists believe is a reference to early Colossae. Their main occupation was carpet design patterns of typical Asia Minor carpets. The name is derived from the manufacture of its famous dyed wool, or colour and that’s how this city is named after it.

And those Churches which followed these rituals got severely destroyed by the new generation, the faith, and power that Christ is the only saviour has been lost and the new generation begin to run into mixed marriages and they have become the slaves of powerful atheism and still the false apostles are preaching that everything is in Christ’s against this Jesus Vision Deliverance Ministry contravene against it.

By the 21 century, there was a great increase in preachers of false teachers. from the teachings, we can understand that their teachings were entirely different and very opposite to the teachings of St. Paul.

“Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not god’s. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary Principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more? You observe days and months and seasons and years!” (Galatians 4:8-11)

INSCRIPTION OF STRABO

Colosseum is the site of a great battle to put down Persian rebels in 396 B.C. After the death of Haranas, in the 1st century A.D. legends associated with the Archangel Michael circulated in Colosse. At a place where the river Lycus comes and joins, Michael the Archangel went into the water and touched it and those who stepped into that water were healed; even today this belief is followed and practiced. Along with this, they all started praying to the Angel. A church was built and started performing the worship and offering praises to the Angel Michael. Then later it got destroyed completely, which was further reconstructed by Emperor DACNI GLD Delego Byzantine, in the name of Michael the Archangel( AD 31-32). Then, later the Healing miracles by Michael Angel became popular and the devotion towards the Angel became strongly rooted.

From the 1st century itself, the Apostles strongly denied the adoration of the Angels. In the Church of John, the Gnostic preaching was strongly invaded in the Churches  Which was strongly disagreed, as written in the epistles of John.
Gnoistic’s thoughts in Coloasse were disagreed by St. Paul that all subjects were convinced as helping sources, and the people started supporting it .

The Gnoistic’s thinking and preaching were as follows-
1. What is wrong with praying to the ANGEL?
2. They argued that God heard Mary speak through Angel Gabriel and therefore should praise and worship Gabriel.

Archangel Michael is the major, of all the angels and closest to God. Whatever we say to Archangel Michael, it’s conveyed to God.
These teachings of the Gnostics were strongly against the Bible – On the right side of God it’s not the Angel who is sitting; instead, it’s Jesus. The Gospel preaches that whatever we pray to Jesus it will be heard by the Almighty God. Against this was the preaching of Gnosticism practised by worshipping and praising the Angels in Colosse and in Byzantine.

The Angle is not everywhere present. They can only stand in one place at a time. When they are in front of God; they focus there only, nowhere else. So when they appeared to Daniel they were only with Daniel and when appeared to Mary, at that time they heard only Mary’s sound only. The Bible never teaches that Angels are capable of hearing the sound of all the prayers coming from the four sides. That’s why Satan is having thousands of evil angels under him. But God is one ( not single) and he is omnipresent. That’s the difference between God’s Angel and Satanic Angel. And for this reason, it doesn’t mean that God appoints the Angels to visit and carry his message to his men.
According to Christology, all the Churches of Phrygia were destroyed due to the absence of Christ-based teachings. In 1886 Pope Leon Xii declared to the people to pray to the Archangel Michael, (after building a big Church of Archangel Michael, in Byzantine). Then in 1994, Pope JOHN Paul II Declared to celebrate Michaelmas(Feast of Archangel Michael), on September 29 and also suggested everyone start praying to Angels.(Encyclopedia Catholica).
The message given to the next generation of St. Paul is 2: 18 – “ And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.”

“But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies they footstool?” Are they, not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Hebrew 1:13-14)

Colossians 2:18

VERSE

“ Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,”

In ESV, CSB, of the KJV, and also of LIV too all the parsons/clergies were diverting and preaching wrong which was against the preaching of Jesus Christ’s teachings to the Colossians Christians. They themselves proclaim to the people that they got the visions of the angel and display themselves as modest/ lowly in the sight of the people.

They display themselves as having a deep attachment to spiritual matters and justify themselves as they are living closest to God. Through the variations in their livings and dressings style, they started displaying themselves to others.

Many people of the Colossian Churches got attracted through their modesty and dressing variations and started following their cultures and rituals. The people started believing that when they follow the culture and rituals of clergies /parsons then only they will receive eternal Life ( heaven) which is justified -through the strong denial and proclamation by St. Paul to the Colossian Churches that they should not follow it.

They also focused to preach- that when adoration and praises are given to the Angels; then only everyone will be enlightened with the truth through the vision shown by the Angels. ( seen Adorations of Angels) . Also, they proclaimed that if they are not praising the Angels then they will become culprits in sight of God and will have to suffer the punishment of the Almighty God.

Along with this they also justified that the Christians who will not follow this will not be allowed to enter the kingdom of God, the Heaven. Bible states – “ Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind”.

THE BELIEFS OF CHRISTIANS REGARDING THE ANGELS

Greek-Aggelos / English – Angels

We are the children of Almighty God and our own siblings of Jesus Christ, hence the Angels are below us. Those who believe the visions according to the Book of Revelation and the prophecy without making any alteration( – the prophets) their servants are the Angels (Revelation 22:9).

The first Father Chrysostom of the Early Church who in his speech to the Church suggested not to adore Angels. (Acts 7: 53).

In the Old Testament if the Law was received by the Angels, then in the New Testament it was through Jesus the believers received. What the Jewish considered about the Angels was not taken into consideration by the Christian siblings of Jesus. As said it’s not under the Angels the Christians should live but they should live under the Grace of God. (Galath 3: 19).

Those who live in Grace will never disobey the Law. St. Jerome, of the Catholic Church in his commentary says the dignity of a soul is so great, that each has a guardian Angel from its birth. The angels are represented as a body of spiritual beings intermediate between God and men He says that these Angel always be with us and also protect us. The Angels were created was laid down in the Fourth Lateran Council (1215). The decree “Firmiter” against the Albigences declares both the fact that they were created and that they were created and that men were created after them.

In Revelation 1: 13  The Seven Lights resemble the seven Churches of Asia ( the seven lights are candle lights which is being explained in Encyclopedia Catholica). Some say the Seven Stars are the Guardian Angels of the Seven Churches. The judgment of appreciation or the disregard of Each angel of the seven Churches is from God. Dean Alford says that the Angels are the protectors of the Churches. Jesus showed John that the seven stars are the Metropolis ( metropolia or metro pollinate.), which guided the Churches. Metropolis is a type of diocese, along with eparchies, exarchates, and archdioceses. To this explanation he added ( Daniel 12: 3). To the same star St. Augustinos says that they are the Prelates of the Churches.

Revelation 22:9                                                                               “Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God”

Acts 7: 53                                                                                          “Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God “

Galath 3: 19                                                                                           “Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of the transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.”

Daniel 12: 3                                                                                             And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever”

PRELATES

A prelate is a high-ranking member of the Christian clergy who is ordinary or who ranks in precedence with ordinaries. The word derives from the Latin prelates,(carry before; be set above or over, or prefer.

Colossians 2:19

VERSE

“And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.”

The body of the human being is always combined with the skeleton system and also with neurons attached which bind each other and is then connected to the head (brain), which controls the whole body. If the body is not in the proper connection to the head, then it is like a dead body ( functionless). When all the parts function properly with the cooperation of each other then also under the control of the head( brain) then the complete body’s function is in the proper way, in the same way, there should be proper cooperation between Christ – us – brothers too. The persons who go after the preachings of Gnoistics destroy the proper connection of the head. Also who only follow the Holy Ones only, are disconnected from the head( Christ). The false preachers will always teach the path to follow to maintain the growth; even if one is separated from Christ. But they always forget that The church ( body) functions properly when it has a connection with the Head (Christ).

St.  Paul says that the false teachers through their wrong teachings are carrying the wrong rituals, and cultures and making the poor practice it like the unwanted circumcisions and other practices which lead to disorder in the connection with Christ.

Colossians 2:20-21

VERSE

“You have died with Christ, and he has set you free from the spiritual powers of this world. So why do you keep on following the rules of the world, such as Don’t handle! Don’t taste! Don’t touch! “?

Never ever live for the worthless teachings( Gnoistism). If we follow then we are like –‘the dead souls’; then why try to fall into the same worthless teachings? Our life is complete in Christ only. St. Paul says that when we follow Gnoistism, then we are completely separated from Christ. Because the Colossian Christians were outsiders ( Gentiles) so they followed all the laws of the body like the practice of Circumcisions. And that’s how Judaism preaching also came into the Church.

Colossians 2:22-23

VERSE

“Such rules are mere human teachings about things that deteriorate as we use them. These rules may seem wise because they require strong devotion, pious self-denial, and severe bodily discipline. But they provide no help in conquering a person’s evil desires.

The Pseudo-Ascetics claimed that they received the vision of GOD, from the ears – the Angels. They exaggerate things through the exhibition of a lowly or modest life and continue in solitary. ( Ascetic life ). They advised that it is enough to torture the body to attain the purity of the body and thereby achieve spiritual elevation. Even though there is nothing to attain purity by torturing the body for the sake of purity according to the teachings of the hypocrites.

If we follow the path of the hypocritic teachings then we just continue to harm our body for the sake of purity of the body, and we get no other use of it ( worthless). They also assumed that the sanctity was due to their hard efforts. Instead, we receive purity which is totally free through the Grace of God for which we don’t have to harm our body.

The ardent devotion of the pseudo-Ascetics, and the indulgence of delicious food, tortured the body to bite the mind and we should never follow any such rituals to sanctify ourselves. And if we follow the rituals as they preached it’s worthless and leads to crucial situations and ends in disputes only. These all are according to the teachings of man’s conscience only and will be never according to God’s preachings. St. Paul says though these rituals declare to be very knowledgeable they can’t prevent our senses from doing sin.

JESUS CONFRONTED THE HYPOCRITES

In the time of Jesus Christ and among the Jews there were some who were hypocrites and pseudo ascetics. We must remember that Jesus strongly opposes and exposes their hypocrisy. They worship God in vain and teach man’s principles as God’s precepts. Example for us: Inducing to follow other rituals under the guise of love ( Mark 7:7).

Jesus rebukes those who make man-made principles into divine precepts and misinform even divine commandments to enslave others to human principles (Mark 7: 9 , Mathew 23: 28). Jesus recognized that the false prophets in Jesus’s time showed themselves to be pure in matters of divine law. In addition, Jesus Christ opposed those who were ashamed of self-righteousness ( Mathew 23: 25- 27 ).

Paul must have known the principle of this spiritual system of Jesus Christ. He looks to save the Colossian Christians from the Colossian ascetics by adopting the preachings of Jesus Christ. In the first century, Christ fell away. The church Fathers would not have accepted the teachings of humanists. All the books of the New Testament were found to be canonical. Never for a moment did the primitive fathers go by the principles of this world.

It was believed that the Revelation of John was the book of those who were ca3ught up in the world’s principles. At the end of the second century, Asian Christians ( alogoi) did not accept the book of Revelation. This Alogoi line was completely banned by the Asian sect of Revelation. They argued that the Gnostic Cerinthus wrote books in John’s name.

They argued that the book Revelation was not written by John the Baptist but was written by Alexandria Dionysius in AD – 250. It was taught that this book could have been written by someone else named John. The main reason Dionysius found was that the writing style of the book of Revelation was not that of the  Apostle John. The book of Revelation was a subject of controversy even before Anthateous combined all the books of the New Testament in the third century.

The Greek Orthodox and the Syrian Orthodox did not accept the Book of Revelation canonically. As proof of that, the Book of Revelation was not added to the Peshitta Bible written in Syriac language. But the Western Churches ( Latin Church ) accepted the book of Revelation from the beginning and established that it was written by John. That is why this book is to some extent acceptable. The Early Church fathers Chrysostom, Theodotus, and the Antiochian writers did not accept the book of Revelation. Epiphanius, Anthateous, and Methodius all agreed that this is the Book of Revelation written by John.

The Apostolic Church in Jerusalem did not take Revelation with its canonical Book as Christ and put it aside. All the ancient churches later accepted the book of Revelation as Christ, but very little of it proclaims divinity. We must understand, therefore that what is not authentic, and the church has nothing respect for it. The Church Fathers knew that reliance on mythology that deviated from the teachings of Jesus Christ would result in being cut off from the vine that is Christ. That is why many people thought that the book of Revelation could be put aside if it was not a spiritual teaching.

Christians who are attracted to the philosophy of religious harmony( secularism) also perform the rituals of other Gods in their own temples. These people are those who have departed from the teaching of the fathers and like Cerinthans, have created new evil teachings in the name of Christ. Jesus is in being Many up the Book of Revelation. If not superficial advice thought it could be replaced. Today the work of religious harmony fascinated by a Christian leads others to join their own people with the same ritual.

POSITIVE REPLY

The writer of the Revelation is the Apostles John (Revelations 1:1, 4:9, 22:8)Clement of Alexandria pointed out in his writings that John had returned from the Island of Padmos, in Ala Candia. The historian Eusebius records that after the reign of the Domitian emperor John, who was imprisoned on the island of Padmos had returned.

The evidence of where the returned John stayed is found in the writings of Irenaeus ” John returned and stayed in Ephesus until the time of Trajan and focused on the work of the gospel”. Because in this Revelation there was use of a lot of literature; for that case no one other was worth writing about it because it should be done by the Jewish only. And describing Asia should be done by the Apostles of Asia and so for this reason John was selected for the writings of Jesus Christ ( Revelation 1, 2).

John’s style of calling ‘ the word’ can be seen in Revelation ( John 1:1 ) & (Revel 19: 13 ) and John’s style of seeing Jesus Christ as ” the Passover Lamb “( John 1: 29 ) &( Reveal  5) and speaking of Jesus Christ as the shepherd ( John 10 : 1) & ( Revel 7: 17 ) &( Revel 22 : 3)

Revelation tells about the glory of God and the Lamb on the throne and how they are adored. Also describes the manna too (John 6: 31) &(Revel 2: 17 ) and also used many other points in the gospels which can be noticed.

Mark 7:7                                                                                                Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men ”

Mark 7: 9                                                                                                 “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition”

Mathew 23: 28                                                                                      “Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity ”

Mathew 23: 25- 2                                                                                    ” Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so, ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity”

Revelations 1:1                                                                                          “ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servant’s things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”

John 1:1                                                                                                  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ”

Revelations 19: 13                                                                                    “And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God”

John 1: 29                                                                                                  “ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world ”

John 10 : 1                                                                                                  “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber ”

Revelation 7: 17                                                                                       “For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes ”

John 6: 31                                                                                                    “Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat ”

Revel 2: 17                                                                                                       “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name is written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it ”

WEAK BROTHERS

These groups claim themselves as holy by having only vegetables in their diet. They think that in the nonvegetarian foods, there are the effects of the other God and their culture. They always took the food which was according to the tradition of Judaism.
The believers of Roman Churches strongly dispute against the weak brothers that from eating the meat; there is no harm or anything wrong in it. And they made a fuss by eating nonvegetarian foods in front of the weak brothers. Paul rebukes the Roman Church and makes a fuss about the argument that they are not wrong and who eats meat in front of him( Romans 14:20)
The edible foods which we can eat, are all sanctified with thanksgiving, this belief was lacking in the weak brothers so they considered the edible food as the unsanctified item ( 1 Timothy 4: 3).
(Always consider the food in two ways, the food offered to the idols should never be taken by anyone.)

ANGELS

The Angels are the group that represents the heavenly army and deliver the message to the men from Heaven. And the Hebrew people called them God’s messengers. They called so because they wanted to make understand the people that whatever messages are given by God all of it is conveyed to the Men through the Angels only. The Angel had the power to do whatever the Almighty God command them to do(Psalm 91: 11).
But Jesus is greater than all of them. He came down as flesh and without any angel’s help, he spoke the word of God. The messenger Angel conveys the message of God in the same form as it was said by God. Isaiah saw a vision that was entirely different from the faith of Hebrew ( Isaiah 63: 8,9).

From there it was said that they are my people, and my Son who is innocent came to them as their Savior. During the days of trouble, they were rescued by Jesus who directly came for their help; and by the Angels. He forsaken them in his love and grace and during the last years they were held in his arms.

The Christian group is led by the salvation of Jesus Christ. But from the time of Jesus’s birth till the resurrection the Angels who came for Jesus, are described more in the New Testament. Lazarus was taken to Abraham’s bosom through the Angels only which was said by Jesus. That doesn’t mean that the Christian group shouldn’t move on without Angels. After the resurrection of Christ, all the powers of authority are given to Christ only. So as we all are the siblings of the Christ and children of the Almighty God; we also have the full rights over all his powers too. Then the Angels are the ones who should be under us and do the service of preachings of the Gospel. During the Last Judgement Days led by Christ, it’s the Angels who are the servants of Jesus and follows his instructions ( Mathew 13: 41).

Till now the Angels are always doing their service of God. They follow the instructions of Jesus to gather the souls, carry them to the kingdom above and then do their service too (Mathew 16:27).

THE APOSTLES AND THE ANGELS

The message of Christ to the Apostles in jail and releasing them out of jail were all carried by the Angels( Acts 5: 19,20)

After the rescue from the Jail, they give the testimony to the Churches that all happened through the help of the Angels. The rescue of St. Peter was done by the Angels only. Though he thought whatever happened was simply a dream but later he realizes the truth and whole heartily praised and bowed to the Angels and then gave the testimony to the Churches that Jesus rescued him through his angels. St. Peter gave all the praises and glories to the Lord only( Act 12: 9 -12).

After the death of Jesus on the cross; then the Heavenly Angels came to give the message of Christ to others ( Acts 10 : 3)

Jesus also sends these Angels to others to spread the word of the Gospel (Acts 8: 26).
And those who depart from the word of God, the Angels came to punish them. As the adoration shown by the Angels towards God, in the same way, the women showed their adoration to God by covering their heads and standing.

The men became the image of God. But the Men and women together bind in God. As the Angels of God stand in front of God with all adoration; the same way the men who are the image of almighty God are adored by the women through covering their heads with a cloth ( 1 Cori 11: 10). From this we should understand that the men are the image of God and the Angels are the servants of the men.
