Colleague and disciple who did evangelism in Jesus Vision

Rino Jacob

Br. Rino was born on 20th October 1982, as the eldest son of Jacob and Mary in Thuravoor. Rino had been experiencing stomach aches since 2004 and taking painkillers.

In 2008, he was diagnosed with Conn’s disease at Ernakulam PVS Hospital and received treatment for it. Br. Rino took many pills monthly and attended Jesus Vision’s convention on the first Saturday of March 2011 at YMCA Hall, Kurupampady, Perumbavoor.

Through counselling and healing, Br. Rino’s pain was relieved and eventually disappeared. In September 2011, through the grace of meditation, he understood what true Christian life is and became a disciple of Christ.

Rino repented for not living a Christ-centered life, even though he was a Catholic, and distanced himself from anything that was not taught by the Apostles. However, he continued to rely on the sacraments of the Church.

Br. Rino engaged in arguments on social media, using the word of Christ to counter misinformation, and spent time educating others until they learned the truth. He also worked as an apologist, defending anything that was not Christ-centred. When he was in Jesus’ vision Youth Angamaly, he paid close attention to ensure that they did not deviate spiritually and served as a leader and team co-worker for all Jesus Vision meditations.

After his recovery, he began to strongly proclaim the Lord’s word in the main stages of Jesus Vision. The Lord gave a message to His servant Shi-el (Shibu Ealayil) in the Jesus Vision Deliverance Ministry that “His servant Rino’s time is up.” Accordingly, appointed people were praying for Rino without his knowledge. That same week, he contracted chickenpox and joined the Lord on July 9, 2020, at 2:45 a.m. Rino leaves behind a daughter named Siona.
